    This query use to disable trigger

    ALTER TABLE table_name DISABLE TRIGGER trigger_name
    
    

    This query use to enable trigger

    ALTER TABLE table_name ENABLE TRIGGER trigger_name

    If you need to disable triggers in pgAdmin (III)

    • first find the table
    • second Expand the +
    • third Find your trigger in Triggers
    • fourth Right-click, uncheck “Trigger Enabled?”
